Cloud Computing for Time Critical ETL Processing

I am a partner of a company which develops an advanced dashboard to manage virtual machines in internet clouds/grids. Virtualization leads to near mainframe performance. The main concern is that the cloud cannot be used for financial applications. My company, CloudBolt, is developing a protocol and plug in that will allow a central and localized master ETL server to run a cluster via a cloud. Each job will require a special plug in that, in turn, will interface with the cloud management software. Security will be handled via authentication in the master jobs and transformations and all data that is stored on the cloud will use compression and password authentication.

I will be able to contribute part of this code to the code base - parts not because it will have a saleable value as the cloud computing is at a cost.

ETL jobs will be able to run amaingly quickly compared to current clustering methods. Business SLA's will be met and new converts to Pentaho will be won over.
