- Select File->New->Project.
- Select Simple from the New Project wizard
- If you are using the Pentaho 1.7, then your Eclipse is 3.2.2Select . There is no Simple to choose.
- Choose General->Project instead.
- Press the Next> button.
- Enter Pentaho Solutions as the project name. Although any name is fine, this document will refer to Pentaho Solutions
- Uncheck the Use default check box
- Browse to the pentaho-solutions directory. If you are using the PCI, this will be /pentaho-demo/pentaho-solutions.
- Select Finish.
