Pentaho Community Edition (CE) software is available in three forms: source code that you can build yourself, continuous integration (CI) builds and released builds. See Community Edition Downloads for more details.
Released
Released builds are classified Pre Release, Milestone, Release Candidate or Stable. They are built and posted to SourceForge.net in order to get wide distribution in the community. See Detailed Download Explanation for the full definition of these terms.
Stable
Kettle - The current version of Kettle is 4.3.0. It is the first open source release of the Big Data components and also the first Apache 2.0 licensed version of Kettle. The 4.3 stable builds are available on SourceForge.net.
Download the Kettle Client
The Kettle client package contains the Spoon UI for building, testing and running Kettle Jobs and Transforms.

Release Candidate
- The Release Candidate of Kettle 4.3 will not be posted for this release
Stable
- The Stable build of Kettle 4.3 is currently planned for the April 17. The actual date is fluid and depends on stability and quality testing
Continuous Integration Builds
The CI server builds are the latest builds of the latest code checked in. They are developer builds and should only be used if you want to try out the latest bleeding edge features and fixes. Never use a CI build for production.
