Manage a mailing list using kettle

Abstract: Kettle provides the possibility to send mails as part of your ETL flow. This functionality can be used to manage a mailing list.

All code is contained in one zip file, named mailer.zip which contains:
*mailing_list.xls: Your mailing list in Excel format
*test.html and 2011.html: Sample email templates
*mailer.ktr: The transformation that does your mailing
